Michael founded API Home Inspections after nearly 3 decades as a professional firefighter. His background in fire safety, building construction, and risk assessment gives him a perspective on homes that most inspectors simply don't have. He's built API on the belief that every client deserves a thorough inspection, honest communication, and an inspector who genuinely cares about the outcome of their purchase.

Connor spent months working side by side with Michael, learning the inspection process hands-on, in addition to formal training and certification. He's always been academically strong, but what stands out most is how quickly that translated into the field — a sharp eye for detail, genuine curiosity about how things work, and a natural ability to explain what he finds in plain, understandable terms. He learned to inspect and communicate the same way Michael does, because that's the standard he trained under from day one. Clients get the same thoroughness, the same honesty, and the same level of care — because for Connor, that's simply how the job is done.

Connor represents the future of API. As he continues to grow into the business, he's being groomed to one day take the reins of the company his father built — carrying that same standard forward for the next generation of API clients.

Behind every inspection API completes, there's a team making sure the business runs the way it should — and Michelle is a big part of that. She holds degrees in both Business Administration and Paralegal Studies, and puts that background to work across HR, legal, accounting, and business development, making sure the details that keep a company running smoothly never fall through the cracks.

Michelle's role may not put her on-site at inspections, but her fingerprints are on the systems, processes, and decisions that let Michael and Connor focus on doing what they do best. Her steady hand behind the scenes is part of what makes API run the way clients expect — organized, professional, and dependable from the first phone call to the final report.
