Termite Inspection

Termite Inspection in Wichita, KS

Termites cause billions of dollars in structural damage across the US every year, and most of it isn't visible until the damage is already done. A termite inspection is a simple, affordable step that's standard on the majority of real estate transactions in our area.

What's Involved

What a Termite Inspection Covers

Termite inspections are performed by a licensed third-party inspector and coordinated through API for your convenience. The inspector examines accessible areas of the home for evidence of wood-destroying insects and organisms, including:

  • Active termite infestations

  • Previous termite activity and damage

  • Wood rot and moisture damage

  • Other wood-destroying insects such as carpenter ants and beetles

You'll receive a Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) report documenting any findings, which is commonly required by lenders as part of the closing process.

Termite Inspection: $35

Why It Matters

Why This Is Worth Adding

Termite damage isn't always obvious from the outside. By the time you can see it, it's often been going on for a while. A $35 inspection is a very small price to pay for the peace of mind of knowing the home's structure is sound, and it's one less thing to worry about after you close.

Scheduling

Add It When You Book

Coordinating a termite inspection alongside your home inspection keeps everything on the same timeline and makes the process easier for everyone involved.
